Fused and painted glass

This work is inspired by the landscape of Laugharne, the home of Dylan Thomas in Carmarthenshire and the title is taken from a line in Dylan Thomas’s poem Fern Hill.
This piece is made from multiple layers of glass fused together with glass powders and enamels and is framed in a beautiful bespoke, hand-made, even-grained, hard wood frame which is painted white.
