Photography forms an essential part of my artistic practice, whether I am making cyanotypes or photographing light and colour through glass, photography offers me a medium to explore my visual ideas about the landscape.
Cyanotype is an early form of photography which involves making photograms using objects on paper, fabric and other materials which I have sensitised with a combination of potassium salts.
I use photography to record altered states and dichotomies in the landscape using pieces of coloured and coated glass in a combination of analogue and digital techniques.
